How to Make Aromatherapy Oil for Daytime Colds
If you come down with a daytime cold, you can rub a healing aromatherapy oil into your chest, inhale it, add it to a warm bath or use it during a massage. This remedy smells great, is completely natural and highly effective in soothing coughs and congestion.
Things You'll Need:
8-oz. dark glass bottle
Small pot of water
10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
10 drops of lavender essential oil
10 drops of peppermint essential oil
10 drops of tea tree oil
3 tbsp. sweet almond oil
3 tbsp. jojoba oil
1 tsp. vitamin E oil

Sterilize. Remove the lid from the bottle and place them both into a pan of water. Heat the water to a rolling boil for 1 minute. Turn off the heat and allow the water to cool before removing the bottle and lid. Let them drain and dry upside-down.

Add to your glass bottle 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil, 10 drops of
lavender
essential oil, 10 drops of peppermint essential oil and 10 drops of tea tree oil. Then add 3 tbsp. of sweet almond oil, 3 tbsp. of jojoba oil and 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil.

Place the lid on the bottle and shake the ingredients gently. You may use the oil immediately. However, for the aromas to blend thoroughly, shake the bottle 2 or 3 times daily for the first 3 days. After that, shake before using. Store the bottle in a cool, dark place.
