How to Make Aromatherapy Oil for Anxiety
If you suffer from stress and anxiety, try a natural remedy. You can massage aromatherapy oils into your skin, wear them as perfumes, heat them in aromatherapy diffusers or pour them into warm baths. With the right blend of oils and fragrances, you can use this remedy for anxiety.
Things You'll Need:
6-oz. dark glass bottle
Small pot of water
2 1/2 tbsp. sweet almond oil
2 1/2 tbsp. jojoba oil
1 tsp. Vitamin E oil
12 drops lavender essential oil
12 drops petitgrain essential oil
6 drops ylang ylang essential oil

Place the bottle and cap in a small pot of water and bring to a rolling boil. Let the water boil for at least a minute to ensure sterilization, and then turn off the water and allow it to cool. Remove the bottle and lid and set them upside down to dry.

Measure into your bottle 2 1/2 tbsp. sweet almond oil, 2 1/2 tbsp. jojoba oil and 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil. Add 12 drops of
lavender
essential oil, 12 drops of petitgrain essential oil and 6 drops of ylang ylang essential oil.

Seal the bottle and shake gently. You can use the oil immediately. Shake the bottle 2 or 3 times a day for the first 3 days to properly blend the aromas.

Purchase fresh carrier oils and essential oils for your aromatherapy remedies. Carrier oils should be virgin or extra virgin. All oils should be stored in dark glass in a cool location. If your ingredients are fresh, your equipment sterilized and you store the oil in a cool, dark place, your aromatherapy oils should last 18 months or more.
